Privacy Policy

What we collect

Account and billing. Name, email, phone if you give it, billing details and payment tokens from our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on our own servers if we can avoid it.

Service data. Sites you host, domains, support tickets, login times, IP addresses, and server logs needed to run and secure the service.

Website. Ordinary logs and any cookies or analytics we actually switch on. If we add a tracker, we will say so here.

Why we collect it

To set up and run your hosting and domain
To take payment and send invoices
To talk to you about the service
To stop fraud, spam and abuse
To meet the law (tax, court orders, registry rules)
To improve the product — in aggregate, not by reading your mail for fun

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed with payment processors, domain registries and registrars, the Sydney data-centre and upstream providers, email and support tools, professional advisers if required, and police or regulators when the law says we must.

Where it sits

Hosting servers are in Sydney, Australia. PT World Best Hosting is based in Indonesia. Payment and email tools may sit in other countries (often the United States or Singapore). If personal information is handled outside Australia or Indonesia, those providers may be subject to local law. We take reasonable steps so it is handled carefully.

How long we keep it

Account and billing records are kept while the account is open and then for a period needed for tax and disputes (often up to 7 years). Logs and backups are kept for a shorter operational window. When we no longer need the information we delete or de-identify it where practicable.

Security

We use access controls, TLS, and ordinary hosting hygiene. No host can promise a fortress. If there is a breach likely to cause serious harm, we will notify affected people and any regulator the law requires.

Your rights

Ask what we hold about you, or ask us to fix it, by emailing support@auhost.site. We may need to verify it is you. Australian customers may also have rights under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) where it applies. Complaints can go to us first, then to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if you are not satisfied.

Marketing

Service mail (invoices, outages, security) comes with the account. Promotional mail you can opt out of.
